Two Secrets to Your Success This Year and Beyond

I want to tell you about two ideas that can assure you never have to start over on a goal: overcoming limiting beliefs; and having the patience to make long-term commitments.

If you can do both of these things, then you’re well on your way, my friend.

Let's talk about those sneaky limiting beliefs. When you're in the clutches of these self-imposed restrictions, breaking free can feel like an uphill battle. You might catch yourself saying things like, "I've always been heavy, so a healthy lifestyle is out of reach for me," or "Why bother going for that promotion? They'll want someone smarter, prettier, or better."

Sound familiar? We've all been there.

Here’s the game-changer: You CAN overcome these limiting self-beliefs. Challenge those negative thoughts and replace them with positive affirmations. Instead of wallowing in self-doubt, declare, "I am doing what I can to become the best version of myself" or "I'm putting forth my best effort to show why I'm perfect for that job."

Yes, it takes effort. You might have to do it over and over… maybe even several times a day. But each time you choose to stop putting yourself down, it gets easier. Trust me.

Now for the second big idea -- about making a commitment. A goal without commitment is just a wish, and any 5-year-old has a bunch of those, right?

Adults know that success takes consistent effort over time. If you stay focused and do the work, day in and day out, then you’ll get closer to where you’re going, PERIOD.

When you stomp your feet and complain that it’s taking too long and you’ll NEVER get what you want, well, then you’re not just refusing to make a commitment… You’re also reinforcing those limiting self-beliefs.

So, commit right now to leaving those old bad habits in the past.

You don’t have time for them anymore!
